Andrew Angle was found in this unusual situation when the Lower Allen Township police came to investigate "suspicious activity" in the 2200 block of Orchard Road on Jan. 26 at around 8:33 a.m. as the police stated in a release on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. Nearly a year later, Angle has been convicted on all charges connected with the case.
The locks of the store were cut with bolt cutters found in Angle's vehicle along with drugs and around $3,000 worth of stolen sex toys. "The stolen items were not able to be re-sold at the store," the Cumberland County District Attorney's office stated in a release following his conviction.
Around midnight on Saturday, March 16, 2024, Angle was found guilty of the following:
- Felony Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance (Marijuana).
- Felony Burglary.
- Felony Criminal Trespass.
- Felony Theft by Receiving Stolen Property.
- Misdemeanor Possession of Instruments of Crime.
- Misdemeanor Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance (Marijuana).
- Misdemeanor Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Angle has a lengthy criminal record and has other active cases involving drugs in the county, court records show.
His sentencing for this case has been scheduled before Judge Smith on Tuesday, April 23, 2024.
